The Soapbox Children's Theatre is "one of Plymouth's Greatest Assets"
Stiltskin's Soapbox Children's Theatre is one of a handful of specialist theatres creating cultural projects for children and their families in Britain. We create theatre for 0-15 yrs and run after school clubs and holiday workshops in drama, art and circus skills. As storytellers we develop pieces of theatre from well known stories and write and produce new work. We run arts festivals in and around the Soapbox, run Plymouth's Family Rave Bubblicious and the ever popular Story Stomps for toddlers using the park as a backdrop for inspiration.
In our Foyer we house Plymouth's only independant toyshop, the Soapbox Toy-Box.
The Soapbox Toy-Box is an independent toy shop with beautifully designed toys with a retro twist. We are open during the week between 10am & 1pm and on Saturday from 10am - 1pm. The Toybox is always open on show days.
The Soapbox Tuck-Box
In the Tuck-box we serve teas, coffees, hot chocolate, a range of soft drinks, yummy cakes and biscuits and a range of snacks. There is also a bar during certain shows.
