Circus
skills can develop hand/eye co-ordination, physical fitness, balance, reflexes
and rhythm.
Circus
skills offer a series of challenges. Whether participants are
balancing, throwing, catching or spinning, the process of learning
such skills teaches them how to set goals and achieve them with
patience and perseverance.
Circus
skills provide opportunities for exploration and growth of
kinaesthetic intelligence and self-expression; encouraging
self-esteem and confidence. Circus also offers the opportunity to
work with others through skills that can be achieved with a partner
or, through peer to peer teaching as students share their knowledge
with others.
Not only does circus stimulate the learning process in many ways, it
is also a creative outlet for those who need extra support with
their learning.
And last but not least circus is Fun!
Circus skills Stiltskin teach
include:-Juggling, Diabolo, Devil Stick, Plate Spinning, Balance,
Acro-Balance, Stilt walking, Rolabola and Club Swinging.
